GoI banned about 500+ Chinese Apps for security reasons. TikTok was one of them. According to news, Bill Gates owned Microsoft, a US origin company interested to buy this App. If it happens, then the big question is - "Will this App (TikTok) back in India?".
As we know that Government of India already banned this app, so there are very less chance that it will back in India. Reasons:

As you know, Government of India banned TikTok. Now it is confirmed that Microsoft will buy this company. If Microsoft changes the name of this company and assures the Indian government that it is committed to further protecting their data, then Tiktok can return to India.
Hope to return
The way to return to Tiktok is that Microsoft acquires it and gives the Indian government an affidavit of privacy and data security of its citizens. By the way if Microsoft acquires Tiktok So there is high chance that Tiktok will return to India.Because India is currently the largest app market in the world.

The current President of the US, Donald Trump, differs from Microsoft on the subject that Microsoft should acquire the TikTok.This is why they want to ban Tiktok in America as soon as possible. For this reason, they have given very little time to Microsoft to complete the acquisition work.
At the moment, we can only hope that Tiktok is not going to return to India.
